DAY1 - Mysore Srirangapatana
Depart Bangalore procced to Srirangapatana (125 Kms) the hallowed capital of Tipu Sultan often called as Tiger of Mysore. This tiny sleepy suburb of Mysore is a place of legends and history. River Cauvery divides itself before reaching this island town and the tributaries meet again about three miles downstream.
Visit the Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan and Gumbaz where Tipu, his father, Hyder Ali and his mother are buried.Later drive to other side of the town to visit Sri Ranganatha Temple, whih is one of the three most important temples in South India dedicated to Lord Ranganatha. With a majestic tower, it is one of the biggest temples in the State. The temple was built over 1,000 years. Drive straight to Mysore(20 Kms).
Check In at Hotel and realx for a while. Later visit Brindavan Gardens. Brindavan Gardens on the KRS dam is one of the most visited gardens in India. The musical fountains here have fascinated not only the visitors but they have been taken on silver screen too. A visit to the gardens is a must on your Mysore tour specially during the evenings. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY2 - Mysore
Have breakfast and later visit mysore zoo. Followed by Visit St.Philomena’s Church at Mysore. This beautiful Cathedral was built in 1956 and is one of the largest churches in the country.
Visit Mysore Palace, Once the residence of the Wodeyars, this structure is one of the largest of its kind in India. Built in 1912 in the Indo Saracenic style, this place excludes a grandeur that is unmatched. Overnight at hotel.
DAY3 - Belur and Halebidu
After breakfast proceed to Belur.
Belur is famous for its ancient exquisite temples. The Chennakeshava Temple being the finest example of the Hoyasala architecture took 103 years to complete. The façade of the temple is filled with intricate sculptures and friezes with no portion left blank. Elephants, episodes from the epics, sensuous dancers…they are all there-awe inspiring in their intricate workmanship. Drive to Halebidu. (15 Kms)
The temples of Halebidu like those of Belur, bear mute testimony to the rich, cultural heritage of Karnataka. The Hoysaleswara Temple, dating back to the 12th century, is astounding for its wealth of sculpture details. The walls of the temple are covered with an endless variety of gods and goddess, animals, birds and dancing girls. Yet no two facets of the temple are the same. This magnificent temple-guarded by a Nandi Bull-was never completed, despite 86 years of labour.

DAY4 - Shravanbelogola
Drive to Bangalore enroute visit Shravanbelgola.
Shravanbelgola, a prominent Jain pilgrimage centre in Hassan district. Is home to Asia’s largest monolithic statue of first Jain sage Lord Gommateshwara Bahubali. After visiting Lord Gomateshwara statue drive to Bangalore (140 Kms).
